Food Magazine - we all know it, but despite being
very mainstream, it's still a really good food read. We
particularly like the 8 page "TV recipe" pull out each month -
very handy. Monthly.

Magazine - it's the wine drinkers bible. Really
good editorial and discussion about wine. Not just for the wine
experts amongst us - Decanter is just a fascinating read.

- no, it's not for olive lovers. This is the food magazine for
people that like to eat out as well as cook. It has recipes of
course, but also some great writing about food-lover's travels
and restaurant reviews. A good alternative to the traditional
"cook at home" food magazines. Monthly.

Italia Magazine - Taste Italia magazine is a new,
specialist magazine covering just Italian food and drink. We
like the seasonal recipes and the search for authentic
ingredients. Contributions from top Italian chefs such as
Carluccio, Aldo Zilli and Locatelli. There is also an
interesting review of Italian wines and restaurants each month.

Magazine - it's a weakness, but we love it. If
you have a passion for whisky, this is a great magazine to have
to hand. Particularly useful are the tasting notes and the

The World Magazine - a surprising and
surprisingly good read! Stories and tasting notes on some of the
great beers of the world. A real eye opener for beer lovers.
Also details bars, pubs and hotels where the beer drinker can

Food Magazines and Wine Magazines
You
probably read as many food magazines as we do. You may get time to read
them from cover to cover - which we rarely do! So you need to make sure
that the food magazine or wine magazines you choose are worth the
effort. We haven't given you a definitive list of food magazines here -
just a few that we read. but we can recommend them all to you and can
assure you that your precious magazine reading time will be well spent
with any of the titles on this page.
Magazine Review: Waitrose Food Illustrated
We normally try to give you an interesting book review on each page - but that didn't seem right on the food magazines page. But we strongly recommend the Waitrose Food Illustrated Magazine. The recipes work, the articles are interesting and thoughtful and they commission some really good food writers.
